Tot Tok is a powerful and easy to use platform developed for recording and sharing important information on childrens development.
Tot Tok benefits
The benefit to educators is a time efficient system for recording information and being able to see a summary about each child’s day.
The benefits to parents is information about their child provided in real time that builds a daily summary that can be viewed in real-time.
DASHBOARD
The dashboard will give educators and parents a snapshot view of a childs activities for the day and assist educators to meet each child’s individual needs. It allows educators to communicate with parents on child well-being as well as learning.
MEALS
A healthy, balanced diet for children provides essential vitamins, minerals and other nutritional goodies that children need for healthy growth and development.
Educators will record meals a child has eaten for the day and parents will receive a notification in real time. Educators will be able to view ach childs dietary restrictions and allergies.
SLEEPS
Making sure a child gets adequate sleep ensures he or she will have a sound foundation for proper mind and body development.
Educators will record each time a child goes to sleep and when they wake up. Tot Tok will provide parents with actionable insights to support their childs development.
NAPPY AND TOILETING
Information on a child’s toileting is essential to find out whether there have been any signs of dehydration, constipation, diarrhea etc. If a child is undergoing toilet training, it is essential to find out how the training has been working for them.
Educators will record all nappy changes and toileting attempts.
BOTTLES
In the Early years, getting the right quantities of fluids such as milk is essential to ensure good bone development.
Infants and young children are also less heat tolerant and more susceptible to dehydration, especially when being physically active.
Parents will be notified of entries that are made for a child for bottles and will also know the total volume of fluid a child has consumed.
SUNSCREEN
Educators will record each sunscreen application and parents will be notified of these applications. Parents use the daily information sheet to confirm a sunscreen application has occurred before a child arrives during summer months.
PHOTOS
Parents love to see a few photos of their child playing or learning when they’re having a stressful day at work- it no doubt brings a big smile to their face and reassures them that their child is having a good time at the centre.
Educators can share photos with families securely and instantly by either capturing them or uploading them from a device. Photos may include a title, description or comments.
Parents can view each child’s individual or group photos in a beautiful modern photo gallery. Filter or search for specific photos by words (painting, sandpit etc.), dates or months.
OBSERVATIONS
Parents would be involved in their childs learning, emerging interests, personalised curriculum through learning stories, observations and planning cycles.
